The girl’s mom overheard them talking about the demon. She came to join them and told something about the demon that totally changed the adventure.

“I know everything about that demon,” she said. “A long time ago, there was a small village right here. There were many people who lived happily. They lived in great peace and harmony. But one day, something devastating happened that totally wiped out the village.”
